indigo findings presented at 17th vaccine congress

Jantine van Wijlick at the 17th Vaccine Congress

Jantine van Wijlick joined the 17th Vaccine Congress in Glasgow, Scotland which happened last 24-27 September 2023. She presented her work within the INDIGO project on the social context of influenza vaccine uptake amongst elderly and health care workers in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The poster gave us a unique opportunity to have interesting discussions that could further this type of social research.

The Vaccine Congress brings together global expertise, from basic science to service delivery, including presentations and panel discussions on vaccine hesitancy, the latter being the topic of Jantine's PhD research. In addition, in November she will present her work on the social context of vaccine uptake amongst elderly and health care workers in Mysore, India at the ECTMIH2023 (European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health) in Utrecht.
