• Development of an improved and cheaper seasonal vaccine

• Designing an improved pandemic vaccine

• Study of new adjuvants for use in seasonal and/or pandemic vaccines

• Experimenting with the use dermal patches to administer the vaccine via the skin instead of a needle

• Design guidelines and an environment to enable human challenge models
