Isabel Leroux-Roels

Dr. Leroux-Roels is a clinical microbiologist specialized in the prevention and control of infectious diseases, and vaccinology. She has been working as an investigator at CEVAC for over 15 years and has contributed to more than 50 clinical vaccine trials. Since 1 October 2017 Dr. Leroux-Roels is the principal investigator (PI) of CEVAC. She is also active in the Laboratory for Medical Microbiology and the Infection Control Department at Ghent University Hospital. She is appointed assistant professor at Ghent University where she teaches several courses of vaccinology, hospital infection control and microbiology.
